My Son Has Mathematical Intelligence How potentiated

Logical mathematical intelligence is what characterizes mathematicians, scientists, statisticians, engineers, programmers and accountants. The Doctor Rafaela and Pilar Huerta Camones in his book Inteligencias Míltiples, Cómo Descubrirlas y Desarrollarlas (2013), help us to identify the level of development of mathematical logic intelligence in our children and strengthen it,
here we refer to it:

- They are children who demonstrate interest in the operation of equipment, appliances and other; like to disarm his toys to see what makes them work or just what they have inside, like to observe how very young blender or any other appliance that generates an action works, likes to manipulate the pc, cell with which action can through provoke a response.

-They're organized and have ease clasifcar objects: sort toys, natural objects such as stones, shells, etc., objects obsolete plastic, wood, etc., according to one or more criteria, not necessarily at the beginning for us adults do not have logic such criteria. For example one of my student four years had ordered plastic animals, when the supervisor asked if ordered as wild and domestic he replied that he had ordered according to what they ate, ie, carnivores, omnivores and herbivores .

-They are easier to solve mathematical problems.

How I can Potentiate this Type of Intelligence in my Child 0-6 years

 - In the initial level children should have contact with the concrete to reach the abstract, parents must provide games like blocks of wood or plastic, logic blocks, cubes, etc, enabling them count objects (part very important mathematical logician readiness), assemble, build, or sort, etc.

 - You put it in permanent contact with the numbers: in the elevator, for example, from the year you indicated what floor are leaving and asked to tighten the button, if you go to the second floor is told: we go to stage two; then is introduced ordinal numbers, they are told: we go to floor 2, we go to the second floor.

 - Develop or solve strategic games, games like checkers, ludo, chess, monopoly, etc.

 - Working simple experiments that allow them to establish cause and effect, for example what if I combine red tempera yellow, etc. There are books of experiments to work with this age group.

 - Practice activities that stimulate the mathematical logical thinking through the use of educational software, today there are many free programs of this type that can be downloaded online.
