Do You know that there are foods that affect your Child's Intelligence?

   Dr. Aryeh D. Stein Professor of Public Health at Emory US coordinated research with a large group of children of depressed regions of Guatemala, between 2002 and 2004, which was divided into two groups, one choice feeding protein products were given a proteinaceous rich milk called "atole" and the other group preferred to use carbohydrate were given "soft" with abundant sugars. The results indicated that children who consumed the "alote" had better intellectual, cognitive and other skills understanding.(www.bebesymas.com/alimentacion-para-bebes-y-ninos/la-inteligencia)  
    While this is not the only research on the relationship between diet and intellectual level in children is set, we take as an example to support our blog.

Foods that Affect Our Brain Development:
High glycemic carbohydrates: Avoid excessive consumption of sweets, bread, pasta, chocolate and derivatives, and in general, all products rich in glucose and / or sucrose. Accustom them from baby milk and sugar juices, in the case of juices fermented sugar quickly.

Excess fat in the diet: Fried Frequently, chips, etc.
Junk Food
Saturated protein: Meats, especially the sausages and salamis.
Refined Grains: As white flour.
 
Foods that Benefit the Intellectual Development

1.Fish.- especially tuna, mackerel, sardines, etc. The fish has hill that benefits memory and Omega 3 fatty acids, which help benefit IQ.

2. Dried fruit.- fruits instead of sweets, especially walnuts, pistachios, pecans, etc., oxygenate the brain and are high in magnesium.
3. Fruit.- Apples contain quercetin helps them have a better level of attention and concentration, banana is rich in potassium and phosphorus and that various studies have shown that prevents depression and helps sleep.
4. Vegetables.- Broccoli, cabbage, cauliflower, spinach (contains folic acid which is good for the brain), all cooked al dente are a great help for memory retention.
5. Mixed Vegetables.- lentils, green alverjitas, beans, butter beans, etc. These also are high in folic acid.
6. Onion.- especially red containing quercetin.
7. Egg.- containing high percentage of choline, basic protein neurons.
8. Oil.- Sacha Inchi, Olive, etc. which they are served with salad.
